Hullo!

Despite studying for midterms (I have three) and slowly but surely going crazy, (-read crazier-) I'm thoroughly enjoying my reading break at home for a number of reasons:
a) I get to see my family again, which is always awesome,
b) I saw Law Abiding Citizen with my sister and and LOVED it, and
c) REAL FOOD.

God, I missed real food. The food at UVic's okay... but it's cafeteria food and it's mass-produced, so the quality is somewhat, er, negligible at times. Don't trust the turkey -I don't know what it is, but it's not turkey. I suspect it may actually be the flesh of failed students; I saw a sketchy building behind the residence buildings the other day that distinctly reminded me of Sweeney Todd's barber shop...

I have vowed to do well in all of my classes in light of this revelation.

In regards to my artwork... I'm trying a few new things out, dropping some old methods, and just generally experimenting now that I'm more comfortable with my tablet and its assorted programs. I'll post them as soon as I get back to UVic and have access to my tablet once again. I'm also nearly done a "Villain Meme" for my character "Bob," which I hope to post soon. I've also decided to indulge in a little SPN fanart after seeing the latest episode, which was FANTASTIC. I won't give anything away in case anyone here hasn't seen in (WHY HAVEN'T YOU?) but the ending completely blindsided me. It was amazing. I LOVED it.

Not much to update with Lawrence however. I... may have forgotten to water him for a bit, so, y'know, he's not speaking to me again. I'll update you further at a later date! (I'm supposed to be studying!)
