Frayed and torn; the edges of a decayed moment.

Setting: Rome, circa 48 BC.

Characters: (In order of appearance)
Sage Torkelsen
Cupid
Hermes

This was, largely, a challenge I set for myself to see if I had any ability to draw and set up a comic. The characters, as they are depicted here, are from my novel "Gods, In Passing", although the comic is set in Ancient Rome as opposed to the novel, which is set in Greece, 2010-ish.

The story behind the comic stems from a discarded plot option that I couldn't get out of my head, in which Sage, (who dream-walks to strange places even on her good days), accidentally dream-walks herself all the way back to Ancient Rome and then becomes stuck there.

Due to her modern-day associations with a number of Greco-Roman Gods, as well as her spectacularly bad timing, she quickly catches the attention of all the wrong people.

As I said, discarded plot-option.

Also, I just needed an excuse to draw people in togas.

Needless to say, I'm not sure if I'll continue the comic, but I certainly had fun drawing it.

Critique definitely wanted!
