Guys, meet Sage: part-time Messenger of the Gods and formerly a would-be Olympic champion.

She's the protagonist of "Gods, In Passing" and possibly one of the most unfortunate characters I've ever created. Her boss is a jerk, her clients try to eat her, she lost her dream career to a jealous competitor with a nasty pit bull, and she never remembers to read the fine print on anything.
